The Power of Now

This is a classic (although it's probably not old enough to be a classic). It's a great entry into the world of mindfulness and how training yourself to be present in the moment is significantly helpful in alleviating anxiety and depressive symptoms. It's (obviously) not a cure-all, but it is a good start. Additionally, Eckart Tolle writes in a Q&A format, so it's fun to read through. You'll likely find answers to questions you had (and ones you didn't know you had).

Recommended for: Anybody interested in mindfulness and present moment attention.
Ease of Read: Pretty user friendly, although he gets a little deep at times.
