More often than not, folks still feel some sort of shame in reaching out. One of the reasons Tara founded The Counseling Hub was to diminish that sense of shame, to normalize the fact that all people struggle in some way during their lives, and to empower people to grow and heal in their own unique way.

The Counseling Hub is all about connecting, growing, and healing.

It's important to remember we're all humans working with a system. My goal is to help find a common ground that can work out on both ends (the sustainability of the practice and the financial comfort of the clients). Trust me when I say it's not always easy working with or understanding insurance benefits. I strive to always encourage clients have a full understanding of their benefits and what they mean, and work hard to help facilitate that. I also work hard to be sure the insurance companies process the claims according to client benefits. I am happy to be here helping you.

Four Fun Facts About Gloria

  1. I love reading a good book!
My current addiction is Sci-fi fiction, but I also enjoy mystery and other genres. I try to read a book a month since I also have work and school, but it's my favorite way to unwind after a long day. I see it as a way to step out of my world into another universe with time portals and magic.

  2. I can quote almost every episode from The Office.
I'm not just a fan, but a super-fan! I've seen the entire series about 30 times (to be generous) and even own it on DVD in case the streaming services ever decide it's time to boot it. My favorite character is Dwight. I relate to him in how he always strives to be the best, even though he goes about in ways I would never.

  3. Music is my life!
I listen to so many genres (yes, I include Disney Soundtracks as a genre), so you never know what might be on my playlist. I have some favorites, but I believe all you need is some good lyrics and a nice beat to get my shoulders moving. Music gets me through my best days and roughest nights.

  4. I do research for fun.
Now, this might sound weird and I realize that. I find that you can never truly build an understanding without knowing all the facts, the pros and the cons. I was raised by a mother who never gave me the definitions to words, but instead handed me a dictionary. It's been one of my greatest life skills.

  5. I love animated movies!
My all time favorite is Princess and the Frog. I know every song by heart and I may or may not have the full soundtrack on my phone. I love finding a new animated movies! Recently added to my favorites list are Strange World and Encanto which had some of the best storylines. Sometimes it really pays off to stay in touch with your inner child.
